Only the ones the shop needs to work

The Fishing Tackle Shop only uses what it needs for the shop to work. We don't use advertising cookies, Google Analytics or anything else that follows you around the internet, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.

What your browser keeps, and for how long

Your basket, so what you've added is still there when you come back: up to 14 days.
A discount code, if you type one in: up to 14 days.
Your delivery choice: up to 14 days.
Your details while you pay, so you don't have to type them again if you go back a page: an hour.
That you've just ordered, so the confirmation page can show your order: an hour.
Which look of the website you're seeing, while we compare two designs.

If you use the chat, it also keeps two small notes in your browser for as long as the tab is open.

What isn't a cookie

When you open a page, our website records which page it was while the page is being put together on our server, so nothing is written to your device. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.

Clearing them

You can clear all of these in your browser's settings at any time. If you do, your basket empties and any discount code you'd typed in is forgotten.
